Digital Box

The technology of the 1950s sci-fi movies, today! The Digital Box!

Okay, I like this mostly because of the label on the front, "Digital Box". Such a cheesy ass B-movie prop title for such a wacky piece of technology.

What is it you ask, well for £149.99 you get a:
12 Megapixel Interpolated Digital Camera
MPEG 4 Camcorder
MP3 Player
Digital TV Recorder
Dictaphone
Games Machine (The important part is that it plays Tetris)
Karaoke Function
Alarm Clock
Calendar
World Time
Calculator
Currency Conversion
Portable Hard Drive With Built in File Browser
USB Access to 1 Gig SD cards
And A Huge 2.5" Screen!

Heard about it off of Warren Ellis's mailing list, "Bad Signal" where he claims that it has an additional function of using the camera's flash to stun muggers, rapists or charging rhinoceri.

Beware any all-in-one device; as they usually don't do any one of their kazillion functions well.
