Cover art
So I just finished re-watching Serenity. Been spacing it out over the last few days in those sparse few minutes while I am sitting still and having a meal.
Still a damned good movie, great watch.
Still has some ass-ugly dvd case cover art.
Wish they'd gone with simple and tasteful. Take the Serenity sigil that had been on the "Can't Stop The Signal" site and just put it with all of its rich colors on a black background and left it with that.
Actually, fuck. Need to get some glossy paper for my printer and I might print up my own insert for the dvd case so I could toss this freakish thing it came with.

And frick. The old "Can't Stop The Signal" site has been replaced with the over-done "Serenity Movie" site.
Shouldn't be surprised, the old site was for listing the showings of the pre-release screenings.
But still a pity, I have a degree of affection for well designed sites that show a degree of simplicity, style and functionality even when they have become obsolete.
