Why? Why me?
So one of my friends is a big fan of the whole 'mexican masked wrestler' thing. Years ago when we were working togethor he came back from a vacation to Mexico with a masked wrestler mask, burst into the office the day before he was supposed to be back on the job with the mask on and just a pair of swimtrunks and growled and ran around the office and left. Which would have potentially been scary or impressive if he didn't have a build reminiscent of a beanpole.
Anyways, a mutual friend of ours just sent this story to both of us: Mexican police hunting the country's most-wanted serial killer have arrested a female wrestler.
I can get why he got sent a link to the story, though I am not certain she is a masked wrestler, but why did I get sent a link to it?

Wackiness. And yet, one of my first reactions is why hadn't I heard of this? OK, it's not like I actually *watch* or *read* the news (aside from as presented by Comedy Central), but don't you think that sometime in the last twenty years someone would have mentioned a serial killer in Mexico? Stupid American news programs and our blinders to the rest of the world...

He probably believes that you, being a unique and creative individual, can appreciate his bizzare fixation on all things related to Mexican Wrestling, and so he wants to share it with you so that he doesn't feel like such a freak for being obsessed with Masked Wrestlers.

Well, it wasn't even my friend who was obsessed with mexican wrestling who sent it. It was another co-worker the two of us both worked with who sent it to me and mexican-wrestler-boy ( okay, so not 'boy' so much since he is seven years older then me ).
But... Yeah. Wackiness.
