I travel poorly
Okay, I actually travel pretty well, but the last day of prep before travel tends to be chaos, panic, rains of toads, pestilence, and lo a plague came forth and covered the lands.
High points so far today, I got two suitcases half-packed. But I am only taking one with me. So I put a bunch of stuff in the wrong suitcase and now I can't remember which of the two I had meant to use and which one has the sticky zipper ( now that'd be an interesting band name, "Sticky Zipper" ).
Anyways, this time tomorrow I should be on a plane and waiting for it to take off and I'll be gone for a week. Will still probably be at least somewhat in touch. No clue. The 'thinking ahead to tomorrow' part of my brain has degenerated into static, grey sweater fuzz, and white noise right now.
Back to packing, laundry, and cleaning now. Oh, and the kicking myself for staying up two hours later then I had meant to last night to get a head start on stuff only to sleep in three hours late this morning ( and now spending even more time blogging... ).

And I just spent an hour reading and replying to email and blogs... Arrrgh...

See, but if you *didn't* do that, then you'd be all sorts of behind when you get there tomorrow! So consider it a necessary preparation for the trip!

Exactly. LIsten to Ktbuffy. It's the opposite of a backlog: it's a forelog--ther amount of work (or in this case, blogging) you need to do in advance of a trip.
Assuming you are reading this prior to your trip, have a good one, and I am pleased I could delay you from packing for yet another few moments.
If you are reading this after you have come back, well, then, never mind.
