Minor irritations

This has been a day of minor irritations so far.

Spent the morning dealing with people I really didn't want to have to interact with. Blegh. One of those meeting thingies that just suck from the moment you show up, not because of the content of the meeting but because of the people who attended.

Way too windy today. Saw a display of christmas trees fall over in the wind. Don't mind the cold at all, like the cold, don't like the hypothermic frostbite delivering wind. Plus I should have worn my trenchcoat but forgot it and went with my sweatshirt jacket thingy instead.

Got home and my house was warm. Which would be a good thing except it meant I had left the oil furnace running while I was gone and that is expensive this year. Price for 300 gallons of furnace oil this year was twice what I paid for 500 gallons last year.

New patch up for CoH/CoV. 2.4 megs which isn't bad, and a patch itself tends to be a good thing as it is an improvement in some way to the game. I tend to look upon even small changes as improvement as it at least means a bit of variety to the environment. But no patch notes up for it. Which irritates me. They have said in the past that yes, they are bad at not putting up patch notes when they do patches and that it would get better, but it still hasn't after a year.
