Holiday traditions

So, finally getting around to some holiday traditions...

I have a cold. Been stuffy for a few days, but it is officially a head cold now as I appear to be running a fever. Blegh. I seem to get one every year for a day or so right before Christmas.

Drank enough egg nog that my stomach got rumbly and upset. Grocery store by me has egg nog year round now, but guzzling it does is very much a winter season thing to me.

Presents are all horribly wrapped. If I go out of my way, which I didn't this year, to construct odd and very strange shaped boxes out of scrap cardboard I can seem to wrap those and have them look decent. But just wrapping a book or a dvd I seem to mangle every time with way too much paper used and one side being a little short adn the other too long.

James Bond movie marathon seems to have started. Watched chunks of that for the last few years. Movies are so often soo goofy and the gadgets seem so incredibly dated at times.

Poking around at the idea of New Years Resolutions, though I may just give that whole concept a 'pass' this year and just try to fnish up on my left over ones from last year.

Might get togethor with some friends tomorrow, but Sunday morning is my immediate family and my mother's side of the family is later in the day.
