Edit: The word for Novo 01 was 'Sign'.
It was once a random place for me to post random things while I wondered if I will ever get hythia.com back up and online. Now it is obsolete as hythia.com is running again.

It was a sign. It had to be. A symbol, a revelation, an epiphany of something greater. Proof of a supreme being, of the existence of a God or Gods. It was so divine there was nothing else it could possibly be. A LEGO set, a scale model, of the Death Star. Proof that there was a heaven set aside solely for geeks.
And there really is in this years LEGO holiday catalog. $299, 3449 pieces, 25 inches tall with display stand, 19 inches wide. Wow.

It was coming. She knew it. Knew with every fiber of her being, every nerve ending that quivered in anticipation. She didn't need the vagrant who stood on the street corner below, holding up a sign that read "The End is Nigh."
She had a closed-circuit cable access insight into the end.
I cheated slightly, trying to finish the thought at the end before the ding, and not being able to, so finishing it after. But cool about the Death Star. You so want it, don't ya?

In the same series of collector's model kits, there is that Death Star, a Y-Wing, and an Imperial Star Destroyer. I think in a previous year they had a Millenium Falcon too. I actually think the Star Destroyer looks a little more impressive, but all of them are really freaking cool.

My friend Alexander has a bunch of Lego Star Wars kits build -- or did, in his old apartment. I haven't seen them since he moved, but it's possible they're still somewhere in the cavernous holds of his big Queens apartment. And no, I'm not jealous of all that space.
