The house was empty. The dust was blowing in the breeze caused by the opening of the door. Whoever had lived here, their stories and lives, were gone. Some places feel empty, this house felt desolate and abandoned. Like not only had it been stripped of all of the possessions that had marked it as a home, but the years of memories of occupancy had been wiped away as well.
