The gas station was deserted. A derelict of times gone past. Neon signs burnt out, tumbleweeds having crossed the threshold of the filling stations door more recently and in greater numbers then customers ever did. The pumps stood as solemn monuments of remembering a day when the road once had traffic upon it, a busy livelier era long gone past.
