Mornings and a bit of catch-up
Mornings suck. Mornings are the point in the day when I wake up with no painkillers still in my system, everything hurts and I am not awake enough to know better then to do things that'll hurt me more. Definately need to remember to stop trying to pick up gallon jugs of milk with my splinted hand.
That bit of tiresome whining aside, couple things I had meant to write about that I had forgotten.
Got a haircut on Friday. Needed it bad. Was down to my chin in front, my shoulders on the sides and to about between my shoulder blades in back. Had been putting it off for a while, trying to decide if I was going to get it butchered or just put it back into a ponytail again for a while. Finally decided on the butchering as I was tired of waking up with it in my mouth. Very short now, doesn't even reach my eyebrows, ears or collar. Actually, a little too short as my hair doesn't train well and now that it is this short again, it is trying to stand up so I look a little bit like I just came out of a wind tunnel or I stuck my finger in a light socket a few hours before.
As a nice change, the place was busy enough when I went that despite several hairdressers saying they liked the color of my hair, I didn't end up with a small crowd fondling my head for once. I hate that. Hate hate hate it. Freaks the hell out of me since I'll be half-blind with my glasses off ( near-sighted ) and suddenly count five hands on my head, three of them right hands. Very very disturbing.
Still can't get my CoV pre-order code to register properly. Damned font makes it hard to differentiate between "Q" and "O" and "0" as well as "8" and "B" and "3" as well also as "J" and "I" and "1".
Got a care package from a really wonderful friend of mine yesterday. Cookies and banana and pumpkin bread and some anime on dvd that I am supposed to be calling her to watch right now but am finishing up breakfast first so she doesn't have to hear me chew cereal.
My energy/energy blaster was on a really fun team for the Croatoa TF last night. Didn't get a hat yet, will have to try it again sometime for that.

Huh. Just realized that the picture on my profile here is black and white. Der.
My hair is red, though maybe auburn is as descriptive as red since it is a little more brown then it used to be. Was much more brightly red when I was a kid, not sure if the color change is because of my getting older, or my not being out in the sun for several hours everyday and it not being as sun-bleached to a lighter shade.

Ooh. So the pet is a witch that will heal? Coooool.
Wonder if when you use it up if you can just do the TF to get a new one? Not sure if it was a one-time reward like getting the badge or if it will be awarded each time through.

Red hair is good though. I've been dyeing my hair for years to get it red, and yeah, each time I go to the salon they still complement themselves on the shade.
As for the witch... hmmm, I don't know. It'd be nice if you could get her each time you do the TF, though it's a lot to go through for a short time of use. But fun to have around, all my little pets following me. Jack was getting lonely now that he doesn't have another self to hang out with.
